Patient 2

"Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods, lives and the fruits of your toil. But give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Those who say, when afflicted with calamity, 'To Allah we belong, and Him is our return.' They are those on whom descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy. They are the ones who receive guidance." (2:155-157)


"Oh you who believe ! Persevere in patience and constancy. Vie in such perseverance, strengthen each other, and be pious, that you may prosper." (3:200)

Patient

"Seek Allah's help with patient perseverance and prayer. It is indeed hard except for those who are humble." (2:45)


"Oh you who believe ! Seek help with patient perseverance and prayer, for God is with those who patiently persevere." (2:153)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him) said :
"A strong person is not the person who throws his adversaries to the ground. A strong person is the person who contains himself when he is angry." (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

Hadith About Peace

The lives of the practitioners of other religions in the Muslim society was also given protective status. The Prophet ( peace and blessings be upon Him) said :
"Whoever kills a person who has a truce with the Muslims will never smell the fragrance of Paradise." (Saheeh Muslim)


Since the upper hand was with the Muslims, the Prophet strictly warned against any maltreatment of people of other faiths. He said :
"Beware ! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, or curtails their rights, or burdens them with more than they can bear, or bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment." (Abu Dawud)

Do not Suicide

Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said :
"Whoever throws himself down from a mountain and kills himself will be throwing himself down in the Fire of Hell forever and ever. Whoever drinks poison and kills himself will be sipping it in the Fire of Hell forever and ever. Whoever kills himself with piece of iron will have that iron in his hand, thrusting it into his belly in the fire of Hell forever and ever." [Sahih Bukhaari :5442, Muslim : 109]

Parent

During the funeral of his Mother
Al Harith Al Akli (radiAllahu anhu) weeped.
When asked for the reason of his tears he said : "Why should I not cry when one of my doors to Paradise has now closed ?"
